The Challenge: Basement Toilets Below the Sewer Line
A commercial building required a dedicated restroom facility in its basement parking area, connecting 3 to 4 toilets for daily use by logistics and driver personnel. The immediate problem: the basement sat below the building's main sewer line, making conventional gravity drainage impossible without digging through the completed slab.
Building management imposed clear constraints. No major excavation or core-cutting was permitted in the active parking structure. The solution had to handle high-usage, peak-load conditions reliably, and installation had to be completed with minimal civil work.
The Solution: Sanicubic 2 GR Lifting Station
SFA India specified the Sanicubic 2 GR, a floor-standing commercial sewage lifting station designed for exactly these conditions. The unit was installed in the basement and connected directly to all toilets in the restroom facility. Its dual Pro X K3 grinder pumps collect and macerate incoming sewage water, then discharge it upward through a 50 mm pipe to the sewer connection above, no pit required, no gravity drainage needed.
The dual-motor configuration was essential for this application. With multiple toilets in a high-usage environment, the system needed to handle simultaneous flushes without faltering. The two motors alternate during normal operation and activate together during peak inflow, ensuring continuous performance even during the busiest shift periods. If one motor ever requires servicing, the other operates independently as a built-in failsafe.
The IP68-certified motors provided added assurance for the basement environment, where moisture levels demand more than a standard motor rating. An integrated audible and visual alarm system allows the facilities team to monitor the unit remotely, with immediate notification if intervention is needed. Installation required no excavation, no pit, and no prolonged shutdown of the parking structure.

The Sanicubic 2 GR is a heavy-duty, free-standing sewage lifting station available in four versions, covering lifting heights from 20 to 39 metres.
